Women’s First Team Staff

Management and Staff positions firmed up for 2026

Shamrock Rovers F.C. confirms the Women’s First Team Management & Staff positions ahead of the 2026 season.

Following the announcement of James O’Callaghan as Head Coach in December, Vinnie Patterson has been appointed Assistant Head Coach. Vinnie, a UEFA A Licence holder, reunites with James at Rovers having previously worked together at Peamount United in a successful period for the club.

Keith Coffey has been appointed First Team Coach. Keith, a UEFA B Licence holder, makes the step up from our Academy staff following a successful spell with our WU17s, guiding them to back to back doubles in 2024 & 2025.

Karl Coleman remains as Goalkeeping Coach, with a new Strength & Conditioning Coach set to be appointed in the coming week.

Jason Carey assumes the role of Head of Women’s Football, with responsibility for overseeing the Club’s strategic objectives for the Women’s section at Shamrock Rovers F.C..

On behalf of everyone at the club, we extend our support and best wishes to James and his staff for the season ahead.

The Club would like to place on record its gratitude to women’s first team principal sponsors Blake’s Food Service and Blake Haulage for their renewal of our partnership into 2026.

We will be making a series of announcements relating to new signings and re-signings over the coming days as preparations continue ahead of the 2026 campaign.
