Season Tickets

2 questions
How do I buy a Season Ticket and what does it involve?

Season Tickets can be purchased online or in person at the Stadium Megastore during advertised hours (regular opening Friday and Saturday, 12-4pm; see social media for matchday hours). A Season Ticket covers all home league games and gives the holder priority access to away matches and cup fixtures.

Which ticket price band should I buy?

Buy the Season Ticket that matches your age as of 1 February in the given year - or, for Match Tickets, your age on the day of the game. Our ticket age bands are: Senior (65 years+), Adult (18-64 years), Student (valid ID from the current year), Young Person (14-17 years) and Child (under 14 years).

02

Match Tickets

5 questions
How can I choose my seat online?

All Match Tickets are unreserved seating, but you do pick the stand you want to sit in. Please be aware that some seats in the West Stand (Blocks 102 & 103) are reserved for Season Ticket holders, so do not sit in those seats with a Match Ticket.

How can I buy a Family Area Match Ticket?

The Family Area is in the North Stand and seating there is also unallocated.

How many tickets can I buy?

Home ticket allocations are decided on a game-by-game basis. For group enquiries of 10 or more, email tickets@shamrockrovers.ie. Away ticket limits vary depending on the allocation from the host club and demand for the match; these are announced on club channels when tickets go on sale.

Can I change my Season or Match Ticket to another age bracket?

If you realise you have bought the wrong ticket category, email tickets@shamrockrovers.ie and a member of the Ticketing Team will help you arrange an upgrade.

Do I need a paper ticket?

No. Every ticket is duplicated to your account in the SRFC Tickets app at app.shamrockrovers.ie - just show the barcode on your phone at the turnstile. There are no paper tickets, no replacements and no lost-ticket hassle.

03

Away Matches

3 questions
Can I purchase a ticket in the Away Stand?

Please contact the visiting club's Ticket Office - they issue all tickets for the Away Stand. Some away tickets may be available at the ticket booth beside the Away Stand on the day of the game, from 90 minutes before kick-off. We recommend checking with the visiting club's ticket office first. You can also email tickets@shamrockrovers.ie for information.

When will away games go on sale?

As soon as we have any information from the away club, we will share it across all club channels. Email tickets@shamrockrovers.ie if you have any questions about away fixtures.

How can I purchase a ticket for an away match?

Some clubs only sell tickets at the stadium on the night (for example Sligo Rovers, Cork City). Others (for example Dundalk, Bohemians) send the allocation to Shamrock Rovers to sell before the match, with no tickets available at the away stadium on match day. Members get priority access, followed by Season Ticket holders, with any remaining tickets going on general sale.

05

Lost Tickets

3 questions
I have lost my Season Ticket - what should I do?

You will need a replacement, which carries a €10 admin fee. It is best to let us know at least 48 hours before a game so we can have the new Season Ticket ready for you to pay for and collect on matchday.

On a matchday I left my Season Ticket at home, or forgot my print-at-home ticket - will I be charged extra to get in?

In this situation, visit the Ticket Booth in front of the West Stand to get a paper ticket for entry. There is a €10 admin charge for this.

My Season Ticket was flagged as already scanned at the turnstile and I was refused entry - what do I do?

In the unlikely event this happens, go to the Ticket Booth in front of the West Stand and ask for the Ticket Manager. Hand over your Season Ticket and you will be given a temporary paper ticket for entry. The old Season Ticket is then cancelled and a new one with a fresh barcode is sent to you.

06

On-sale Timing

1 question
When will home games go on sale?

Generally, home Match Tickets go on sale a few weeks before the fixture. You can see all games currently on sale, plus upcoming on-sale times, on our Match Tickets page.

07

Online Booking

3 questions
I have booked online - how will I receive my ticket?

Check your inbox for a confirmation email with the e-tickets attached for home games. You can print the tickets or simply show the e-ticket barcode on your smartphone at the turnstile. Away game tickets are collected from the Stadium Megastore at pre-arranged times, which are communicated when you purchase.

I booked online but never received an email - what do I do?

Check your junk mail first. If it is not there, there may have been a misspelling in your email address - email tickets@shamrockrovers.ie and a member of our Ticketing Team will be happy to help.

I am from overseas - how do I receive my ticket?

For a home match ticket, simply buy online and your e-ticket will be emailed to you. For an away ticket, it can be left for collection at the club Megastore at pre-arranged times communicated when you purchase.

08

Megastore & Ticket Office

1 question
When is the Megastore and Ticket Office open?

The Megastore is open 12pm to 4pm, Friday and Saturday. On matchdays it opens from 4pm until just before kick-off; please check social media for the latest hours. Tickets can be bought in the Megastore until 90 minutes before kick-off. The ticket booths then open and sell tickets until 15 minutes after kick-off.

09

Parking & Transport

3 questions
Do you have any car parking on matchdays?

No - due to the limited size of our parking facilities we are unable to offer fan parking. Pay-and-display parking is available at The Square shopping centre, about an 8-minute walk from Tallaght Stadium. There is strictly no admittance to the stadium car park without a parking pass.

I want to get public transport to Tallaght Stadium - where do I go?

Tallaght Stadium is on the Luas Red Line. Take the tram to Tallaght (the final stop), which is outside The Square Shopping Centre; the stadium is an 8-minute walk from the stop. Dublin Bus and Go-Ahead also run many services to or through Tallaght via The Square. Use the Luas and Transport for Ireland journey planners to plan your route.

Are there any hotels nearby?

Tallaght Stadium is located beside the Maldron Hotel. Within walking distance are the Plaza Hotel, the Tallaght Cross Hotel and The Glashaus. See the full first-visitor guide below for direct links.

Refunds & Reschedules

3 questions
I bought a home Match Ticket and now cannot make the game - can I get a refund?

All home Match Tickets are non-refundable unless the fixture is rescheduled or cancelled.

A game has been rescheduled - is my original ticket still valid?

Yes. All tickets sold for the original game remain valid for the rescheduled date. We notify all supporters as soon as the new date is issued by the FAI. Refunds are also available under the club's Terms and Conditions for supporters who cannot attend the rearranged fixture.

What is the ticket refund process?

Once the rescheduled fixture is announced, supporters have seven days to claim a refund. Tickets bought online are refunded by emailing tickets@shamrockrovers.ie at that time, with the money returned to the card used to pay within 5-10 working days. All other refunds are made in person from the Stadium Megastore.

12

1 question
What are the Junior Hoops?

Junior Hoops is the club for young Rovers fans, offering members the chance to meet the players and coaching staff and enjoy many other memorable experiences through the year. See the Membership page or ask a volunteer in the Family Area on matchday for details.

First time at Tallaght

Welcome to the Hoops

Shamrock Rovers is delighted to welcome first-time visitors to live football at the best stadium in the league. This short guide answers the most common questions about your visit. If there is anything else you would like to know, get in touch - we hope you enjoy your time at Tallaght Stadium and look forward to seeing you again.

Where's the match?

Our home games are played at the purpose-built Tallaght Stadium - the most modern, family-friendly all-seater ground in the League of Ireland, with every seat covered. It sits on the N81 national road with public transport alongside. There is no matchday parking except for pass holders: no admittance to the car park without a pass. Pay-and-display parking is available at The Square, Tallaght.

When do you play?

Home matches usually kick off at 8pm on Friday evenings. Some fixtures are midweek or moved for TV - the latest details are always on our first-team fixtures. Stadium gates and catering outlets open 75 minutes before kick-off.

How do I get tickets?

We always recommend buying tickets online - our paperless ticketing avoids queuing and lets you show the ticket on your phone at the turnstile. When not sold out beforehand, tickets are available from the Ticket Booth at the main entrance. Holders of Student and Senior tickets may be asked for ID on admission.

Where can I sit?

Home and neutral fans are accommodated in the West and South (behind the goal) Stands. A few reserved seats in the West Stand (Blocks 102 & 103) are marked for season ticket holders, members, players and officials; otherwise you can choose any unreserved seat. The South Stand hosts our singing section - enter via Turnstiles Block 5. The Family Section is in the North Stand. Away fans are in Blocks 301 and 302 of the East Stand, entering via Turnstile Block 1 on the N81 side.

Is the stadium accessible?

Tallaght Stadium is fully wheelchair accessible, with wheelchair podiums in the North, South and East Stands for unobstructed viewing. The main area is the covered Wheelchair Bay in front of the South Stand, reached via Turnstile Block 4 with a disabled seat ticket. Accessible parking spaces require pre-arrangement - please email ticketing in advance.

What catering is available?

The Hoops Food Court sits between the West and South Stands, with a range of hot food and drinks plus sweets, crisps and cold drinks. Vendors include the Hooper hot food van, a gourmet coffee stand and a sweet shop. Separate catering outlets are available in the away fans' section.

Can I buy a souvenir?

The Rovers Megastore is in the North stand, accessed from outside the ground, with a huge range of replica jerseys, training gear, accessories and souvenirs for all ages. It opens from 4pm on matchdays until 20 minutes before kick-off. Inside the ground, pick up a copy of our match programme Hoops Scene - recent Irish Programme of the Year winner - for €5.

Is this family friendly?

Absolutely. A night at Tallaght Stadium is the best-value family night out in Dublin, with a dedicated family area in the West Stand (N81 / Square end) featuring different competitions and activities every week, plus the chance of pre-match visits from players and staff. Children can join the Junior Hoops for €15 a year - Rovers gifts, events through the year, a morning training with the first team, and the exclusive matchday Guard of Honour. Ask a volunteer in the family section for details.

Who can I ask for help?

Our matches are fully stewarded. For any immediate issue, approach one of the stewards, who can be identified by their orange jackets. For post-match feedback or to follow up on anything, see the contact details at the bottom of this page.

Anything else?

In line with other venues and events, backpacks and bags larger than A4 size will not be permitted into the ground. Our formal stadium regulations governing behaviour are available to read in full. Got feedback after your visit? Get in touch.

What are the ticket prices?

Reference figures carried over from the previous site. Visiting regularly? A Season Ticket offers the best value. Always confirm current prices on the Match Tickets page before buying.
