From our Tallaght home across Dublin and beyond, Shamrock Rovers works in the community year-round - through the Shamrock Rovers Community Foundation, our social and community partnerships, sustainability initiatives, and a club-wide commitment to inclusion.
The Shamrock Rovers Community Foundation
Built to do the right thing, for the right reasons
"Shamrock Rovers Community Foundation will focus on engaging with young people and the elderly in the community, alongside local schools, grassroots football clubs, community groups, and those facing social and economic challenges, using football and sport as a platform to promote health, wellbeing, positive life choices, and improved school engagement among young people."
Now up and running, the Foundation works alongside the club's existing community programme to maximise its impact - funding and managing projects, mainly for young people, across the Tallaght area.

School Stadium Days
Local schools visit Tallaght Stadium for inspiring educational experiences - guided tours, player meet-and-greets & curriculum content.

Research partnership
Shamrock Rovers in the Community
A research project by the TU Dublin School of Media's Media Production & Digital Arts degree programme, on the Tallaght Campus, documenting the impact Shamrock Rovers has had on its match-going supporters and on the wider Tallaght community. Set against the club's 125th year, the 15th anniversary of the move to Tallaght and the 30th year of the degree, the team is gathering film, audio and photography to build a digital historical record of fan and volunteer voices.
