Shamrock Rovers F.C. is delighted to announce the signing of Aimee Neal to our Women’s First Team squad. The 21-year old defender makes the move to Tallaght from NIFL side Glentoran.
Speaking on Aimee’s arrival at Rovers, interim Head Coach Stephanie Zambra said: ”We’re really pleased to welcome Aimee to the club. It’s been a busy week of signings, and Aimee was another one we had to work hard to get done in time before the window closed. She’s a strong, competitive defender who will bring real competition and quality to our backline. From our conversations, it’s clear she has a fantastic mindset - she’s eager to learn, improve, and contribute to the squad. I’m looking forward to getting her into training and helping her hit the ground running.”
Aimee will wear the number 3 shirt and will be available for selection for this evening’s SSE Airtricity Women’s Premier Division fixture against Wexford at Ferrycarrig Park.
