With a record field of 32 teams, the 2021 Shamrock Rovers Golf Classic was played yesterday (August 24th) in perfect, sunny conditions at Palmerstown House GC in Kildare.
With a score of 53.9, the team from Brophy Gillespie (pictured above are Jim Gillespie, Ger Nowlan, Robbie Kenny and Peter O’Brien) were the winners of this year’s event.
Runners up with 56.2 was the team from Matheson (John Ryan, Roy Butler, Ciaran Burke and Simon Molloy).
In third place with 59.2 points was Brendan McCarthy’s team (Anthony McMackin, John Butterly and Peter Lehane) with Ger Feighery’s team (Ronan Feighery, Joe Donnelly and Will Hamill) finishing fourth.
