Shamrock Rovers F.C. is delighted to announce the signing of Mia Dodd to our Women’s First Team squad. The midfielder makes the move across the city on deadline day to join from Bohemians.
Speaking on Mia’s arrival at Rovers, interim Head Coach Stephanie Zambra said: ”I’m delighted to welcome Mia to the club. It was a priority for me to bring in some players this week to strengthen the squad, so I’m really pleased we were able to get this one done before the window closed. I played against Mia during my own career and always admired her qualities as a midfielder. She’s got a great engine, can pass, tackle, and score some brilliant goals. Most importantly, she brings real quality and adds competition - something that will push the group in the right direction. We’re excited to have her on board for the rest of the season.”
Mia will wear the number 5 shirt and will be available for selection for this evening’s SSE Airtricity Women’s Premier Division fixture against Waterford at Tallaght Stadium.
